The Full Story

In the second grade, after worming my way to the fifth grade reading section in the school library, I discovered Junie B. Jones and as they say, the rest was history. Reading was my first love. Though I can't manage the ostentatious load I used to when I was younger, it is still something I prioritize. Reading is of course fundamentally important, but mostly, it's fun. Books open up new worlds for us to dip our toes into. They let us travel between great wars, schools like our own, magic tree houses, great estates, and secret gardens, so when I was still just a little girl, I began to write alongside reading, imitating the very authors I loved and admired. The same authors whose greatness I aspire to and hope to one day accomplish.
